Job summary
The General Warehouse Worker position is located in Topeka, Kansas and requires safe operation of a forklift or other powered material handling equipment to move finished goods and packaging material.The employee will be accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may be required to perform duties as an order selector, unloader, or loader.Operate Stretch Wrapper and Inverter in the Warehouse DC.
The job duties include obtaining a J.M. Smucker Forklift Drivers License,demonstrating safe operations of the forklift performing pre-operational inspections of power equipment reviewing understanding and following operator responsibilities adhering to all OSHA standards loading unloading stacking staging product materials using a forklift walkie rider or other power equipment receiving putaway pulling preparing product efficiently moving product from staging areas into trailers containers ensuring inbound outbound shipments are accurate free of damage reporting quality variances utilizing warehouse management system maintaining accurate inventory including RF capabilities assisting in maintaining security conducting operations promoting safety supporting company's safety program communicating with oncoming departing shift wearing proper PPE.
