Welch Olsen LLP is a young and growing CPA firm specializing in tax, accounting and payroll for small business owners.

We are a small office (only two partners) and we value flexibility and work/life balance - people who work for us are not allowed to miss important life/family events because of work.

Welch Olsen offers a unique and valuable service to our clients, and because of that, we are growing rapidly. We are looking to add a dynamic team player to our office who can help manage our accounting practice. We pride ourselves on our relaxed, fun atmosphere.

An ideal candidate should have a strong background in QuickBooks Online as well as the ability to quickly analyze and improve messy financials.

The position will work extensively with both clients and our internal staff, so strong communication skills, and a pleasant demeanor are a must.

Responsibilities
Financial statement preparation
New client onboarding
Monthly bank reconciliations
Adjusting journal entries
QuickBooks troubleshooting
Communication directly with clients
Categorization of transactions (limited)
Additional client/management request

Qualifications
QuickBooks Online proficiency is a MUST
QuickBooks Desktop proficiency is a plus, but not required
At least two years of relevant accounting experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and stay on task with little oversight
Friendly and patient demeanor
