    Job Description

    We are seeking a Data Engineer for a direct-hire/permanent role. This role can work remotely and will be supporting a data platform that connects data across an enterprise environment to deliver business insights.

    In this role, you will:
    • Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
    • Evaluates and defines functional requirements for data solutions
    • Defines, builds, and documents industrialized data pipeline processes to be used across the organization
    • Utilizes conceptual and logical data models to align stakeholders and management on implementation scope
    • Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/procedures
    • Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
    • Monitors and analyzes appropriate characteristics of data quality such as accuracy and completeness
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, business administration, or equivalent work experience
    • 8 years of experience with IT Shared Services and/or Data Operations
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex concepts and technologies to diverse audiences
    • Experience with cloud-based and/or on-prem data platforms and managed services, data lakes, data warehousing, analytics tools, data visualization, and machine learning capabilities
    Nice-to-have
    • Proficiency with AWS data technologies such as Redshift, Aurora, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, DynamoDB, etc....
    • Familiarity with other platform technologies such as Azure DataFactory, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, GCP BigQuery, GCP BigTable, etc... a plus.
    • Working knowledge of common data engineering technologies such as Apache Spark, Python, SQL, Scala/Java, Kafka, etc....
    • Experience working in CI/CD environments and the tooling associated with such environments (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo, etc...)
    • Experience working in an agile development process (bias towards the SAFe framework) and operating in a DevSecOps mindset
    • Experience working with SAP or other ERP packages
    Additional Information

    This direct hire/permanent role can work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. This role will offer a salary range of $92,000-$120,000 per year with a 15% annual bonus (total compensation between $105,800- $138,000) plus a sign on bonus (TBD) and a comprehensive suite of benefits. There may be flexibility in the salary based on experience levels.
