    LOCATION: Stamford, CT (600 Washington Blvd)

    JOB FUNCTION

    The HR Operations Associate will report to an HR Operations Specialist and support the broader HR team on day-to-day activities and future initiatives. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

    • Work with members of the HR team to develop, implement, and maintain internal HR procedures and processes
    • Manage all aspects of onboarding process for full-time and contingent workers; coordination with hiring managers and new hires, onboarding paperwork, conduct new hire orientations, manage tasks in onboarding ticketing software
    • Liaise with the Recruiting team on background check initiation and processing
    • Assist with personnel transactions; update bios, org charts, intranet, and monthly newsletters
    • Maintain employee data in HRIS (Workday), including personal information, job changes, hiring, terminating, time tracking, absence, benefits, and more
    • Prepare data analysis and fulfill data requests from various departments including employment verifications
    • Design and coordinate an innovative Wellness Program to promote a healthy work culture for employees, including vendor due diligence, program marketing, event execution, and budget management
    • Curate HR Ops content for internal monthly newsletter and keep intranet up to date
    • Serve as a resource to employees on HR-related questions and issues
    • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date labor law posters and assisting with annual regulatory filings.
    • Maintain personnel files and conduct annual document retention review with outside counsel to purge files as needed

    QUALIFICATIONS
    The ideal candidate will have:

    • A Bachelor's degree
    • 3+ years of relevant HR work experience, ideally at a financial services firm
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
    • Innovative, creative thinker
    • Proficient in Workday (preferred) or other HRIS systems, Excel and Powerpoint
