    Job Overview:


    Reporting to the Senior Staff Veterinarian, the Project Manager will play a key role in the operational framework, supporting technical functions and client engagements.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Project Management
    Foster and sustain partnerships with new and existing investigators.
    Supervise contract negotiations and Master Service Agreement processes.
    Implement timely adjustments or procedural enhancements to meet departmental objectives.
    Oversee project timelines and deliverables both internally and externally.
    Ensure the quality and completion of project outcomes.
    Coordination
    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure resource availability.
    Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage project deadlines and client requirements.
    Advocate for client interests and monitor projects for scope and budget changes.
    Support external visits and audits.
    Manage intricate scheduling and maintain an accurate activity calendar.
    Administration
    Assist in regulatory compliance inspections, audits, and inquiries.
    Communicate crucial information and maintain procedural checklists.
    Maintain records for process tracking.
    Compile and analyze data on internal workflows.
    Establish, sustain, and enhance process-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    Process Enhancement
    Identify opportunities for enhancing existing processes.
    Support the Director and investigators in post-project evaluations and addressing client feedback.
    Participate in recognized process enhancement initiatives.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Keen attention to detail, deadlines, and business protocols.
    Six or more years of experience in Research and Development or Academic Research.

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:
    Proficiency in developing internal process tracking systems.
    Masters degree or four years of project management experience.
    Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
    Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    Active involvement in professional organizations.
