    The Role

    The Director, Strategy is a member of the Fidelity Institutional Wealth

    Management Services (IWMS) organization and will play a key role in the ongoing development of the IWMS strategy and long-term plan. In this role you will drive day-to-day management and leadership of key cross-Fidelity Brokerage Operations and Technology (FBOT) strategic initiatives, support overall business unit operating model and partner with cross-functional leaders to drive prioritization and alignment of key strategic and investment activities. Your contributions will directly impact the efforts to grow, develop, and scale the business.

    • Contributing to development of IWMS s strategic plan through analysis of industry/competitive trends, articulation of an overarching vision, identification of areas of business / investment focus, and development of a goals measurement framework
    • Driving business case development and other strategic analyses through collaboration with key partners to inform perspective and recommendations
    • Coordinating and executing strategic cross-FBOT initiatives in partnership with business leaders, including management of workstreams and coordination with cross-functional teams to drive project delivery and execution; examples include organizational transformation, regulatory response, pricing strategy, and new opportunity assessment
    • Structuring and organizing quarterly business reviews and other forums to enable strategic dialogue and decision-making for FBOT senior management team
    The Expertise and Skills Your Bring
    • 7-10 years of work experience in management consulting, strategy, or similar experience with at least one year in the project manager role, preferably with a premier consulting firm or in a strategy group.
    • MBA, or equivalent business, strategy, or analytical background.
    • Outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to \u201Ctell the story\u201D and communicate complex information to influence executive decision making.
    • Ideal candidate has experience in financial services, particularly in wealth and asset management fundamentals and/or working with financial intermediaries.
    • Experience with project management, specifically including strategy development and business transformation
    • Phenomenal ability to synthesize analysis and research into strategic insights and practical recommendations, including strategic analysis, financial analysis, operational analysis and primary/secondary research
    • Ability to influence and drive decisions in complex environments with multiple partners through both personal interactions as well as the creation and delivery of presentations
    • Proficient in quantifying challenges and requirements related to execution
    • Skilled in building relationships with peers and executives in a variety of capacities
    • Knowledge of digital technologies, business models and emerging fintech players, particularly within financial intermediary market
    • Confidence, business maturity, and presence to work independently and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, including effectively interacting with and influencing senior management
