The pharmacy department plays an integral role in the healthcare team at East Alabama Medical Center (EAMC). A pharmacist ensures the safe and effective use of medication by providing medication order verification while assessing for optimal drug product selection, dosage regimen design, effective administration and drug therapy monitoring services.
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy
- Absolute Registered Pharmacist license and Controlled Substance Permit from the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy
- BLS within 90 DOH/Transfer
- ACLS within 90 DOH/Transfer
