    Job Description

    Collaborates with Director of Marketing, Director of Catering and Conference Services, and cross-functional teams to drive marketing sales and conference services department goals. Supports all efforts towards the commitment to positively impact brand standards, department standards and revenues.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Support conference services with entering room lists, creating diagrams, BEO and Resume book auditing
  • Support sales coordinator with phone inquiries, gift certificates and amenity requests, office supply ordering, group turnovers.
  • Responsible for entering call-in leads/wedding leads into Delphi sales automation system.
  • Work in conjunction with marketing director as an acting liaison between department, public relations firm, social media contacts and other influential contacts regarding hotel marketing, promotions and sales campaigns.
  • Prepare biweekly marketing meeting agenda with appropriate follow up meeting minutes for key distribution.
    Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individuals must have a presence and demeanor that professionally represents the hotel when interacting with associates and the general public. Preferred Skills:
  • A bachelor's degree in hotel management, marketing or a related field.
  • Event Planning and hotel experience a plus.
  • Minimum of two years professional onsite office work environment experience.

    Key Requirements:
  • Collaborate with brand standards to produce promotional materials.
  • Craft clear and detailed product marketing copy.
  • Organize promotional activities for new promotions and events.
  • Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) forecasts.
  • Previous experience in sales and marketing support role.
  • Expertise with SEO/SEM campaigns and designs.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Canva, Issuu, LinkTree, MailChimp, Event Brite,
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management and Content Management System software
  • Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
  • The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be flexible to work any day of the week, weekends, and holidays if assigned.
