    As a Super Float Registered Nurse, you will provide care to a variety of patients throughout our Hospital.

    Staffed with a team-oriented group of caring clinical professionals our Pool RN's float to our Critical Care, Emergency Room, Step Down, Medical Surgical, Orthopedic & Spine Specialty, and Neuro Trauma floors.


    About this unit:


    As part of our site RN Float Pool, you will be lending your knowledge and experience to ICU, Step-Down, MS, OSS, and Neuro Trauma units.

    Premium pay plus shift differentials.
    Critical Care units - ED, ICU, PACU, Step-Down.
    Non-Critical Care units – Med Surgical, Women's Surgical, Neuro Trauma, Orthopedic and Spine Specialty.

    Schedule: 2 12-hr shifts; The role of the Super Float Pool Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director of the department to which the RN is assigned for his or her shift.

    The Registered nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

    The Registered Nurse in the Super Float Pool position provides care for acutely ill patient in units as determined by the Float Pool agreement.

    Graduate of school of nursing required. Must have five (5) years critical care experience in the areas of ICU, PACU, and/or ER.

We are Johnson County's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center. Our hospital is a premier area destination for Women's & Children's healthcare services. We offer the region's only Maternal Fetal Health Center to care for critically ill mothers and their babies. Our hospital has an antepartum unit, a labor and delivery unit, and a Level III NICU.

    We have four emergency rooms, including a dedicated Pediatric emergency room and two freestanding ERs located in Olathe and Shawnee.
