    As a Security Officer- Armed Patrol Driver Part-Time in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will remain highly visible, respond to incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. This role requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license, and rewards teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
    • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
    • Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization for entry, directing visitors and/or deliveries according to property procedures.
    • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or local public responders as needed.
    • Document observations, patrol activity, and incident details in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate notable issues to the appropriate contacts.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
    • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
