    Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center.

    We have an opportunity for an on-call Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Clinical Research Dept.

    Responsibilities


    • Possess excellent peripheral IV cannulation and phlebotomy skills
    • Experience in all aspects of the use, care, and management of Implanted Vascular Access Devices
    • Collection of biological specimens
    • Administration and oversight of investigational medical products
    • Provide emergency intervention, documentation and report adverse and serious adverse events
    • Collaborate with clinical research team including Primary Investigator, Study Coordinators, pharmacy, and child life
    • CITI training
    Qualifications


    • Current RN License in the State of Oregon
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required
    • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers is required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification is preferred
    • Two years hospital experience in pediatrics is preferred
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills; proficient computer skills
