    Family Allergy & Asthma is looking for a detail-oriented Allergy Medication Analyst to work in our Clinic

    Location: 9800 Shelbyville Rd, Suite #220, Louisville, KY 40223

    Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Pay: $17 - $19 / hour

    Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Work directly with Healix and specialty pharmacies to coordinate the processes and procedures for tracking inventory, shipping, and reutilizing inventory for all specialty medications across the practice
    • Communicates with providers, nurses, managers, and patients to track specialty medications and biologics given or received
    • Collects all necessary documentation to complete timely and accurate submission of prior authorizations for biologics and specialty medications, as necessary
    • Runs reports to track appointments/biologics inventory and maintain the integrity of patient charts
    Competencies, Education, and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Certified Medical Assistant preferred
    • Knowledge of medical terminology
    • Proficient and accurate with word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), charting, flowcharting, and general computer skills
    • Previous experience with Biologics/Prior Authorizations preferred
    • Valid Driver's License required
    • CPR certification required
