The Orting School District is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Girls' Volleyball Coach (Non-continuing) at Orting Middle School.Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Experience in coaching/participating in volleyball Knowledge of volleyball techniques and strategies Be able to meet all W.I.A.A. requirements for the Washington State Coaching Standards Ability to communicate positively and effectively with students parents staff and community members Effective written and oral communication skills Strong organizational skills necessary to run a solid middle school program Successful experience working with teenage athletes Ability to motivate teens to reach their highest potential academically through sportsmanship Experience preferred Minimum Qualifications Be high school graduate or have completed a graduation equivalency diploma (GED) program Be at least 19 years of age to be an assistant coach Current first aid CPR training from an approved OSD provider that includes return demonstration or ability Flexible Schedule Must be available immediately after school - 2:25 pm Terms Of Employment Location: Orting Middle School Work Year: Middle School Spring Season Work Start Salary OXA Extra Curricular Salary Schedule Appendix REPORTS TO Director of Athletics Activities Questions Please contact Human Resources Generalist Heather Hintz at ext x4046 Benefits For coaching positions eligibility for benefits determined by number hours employee worked during last two school years September August Regular employees who also in coaching position(s) anticipated work hours more year eligible following benefits medical dental vision retirement life insurance long-term disability employee assistance program
