Sterile Processing Technician - Richland - Providence Health and Services

    Description

    Under the direction of the Manager, Sterile Processing, performs a variety of tasks related to cleaning, sterilizing and assembling and wrapping surgical instruments; picks case carts; restocks supplies and instrumentation; and completes other duties to facilitate the patient care team.

    Required Qualifications:
    National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire, Or

    National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Graduation from a Healthcare Central Service Program from an accredited educational institution.
    Central Supply Room and/or Sterile Processing Department experience.

    The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
