    Summary:

    The Human Resources Manufacturing Director North America is responsible for leading and managing the HR function for the manufacturing operations in North America The role oversees the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies and programs that support the business objectives and align with the global HR vision. The role also ensures compliance with local labor laws and regulations, fosters a culture of engagement and performance, and builds talent capabilities for current and future needs.

    Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

    • Lead and manage the HR function for the manufacturing operations in North America, including setting the HR vision, mission, goals, and objectives.
    • Partner with the senior leadership team to provide strategic HR guidance and solutions, such as succession planning, talent development, and organizational design
    • Develop and execute HR plans and initiatives that support the business goals and priorities, such as employee retention, recognition, and communication
    • Drive organizational effectiveness, change management, and employee engagement initiatives, such as employee surveys, feedback sessions, and action plans
    • Manage employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion programs, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices
    • Lead a team of HR professionals and provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities, as well as setting clear expectations and performance goals
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as unions, vendors, and regulators, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and legal requirements
    • Monitor and report on HR metrics, trends, and issues, and provide recommendations for improvement
    • Stay updated on the latest HR trends, best practices, and legal developments in North America the qualifications required for this role are:

    Some Abilities required:

    • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in a global or multi-site organization preferred
    • Demonstrated knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal frameworks in North America
    • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
    • Ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed environment
    • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
