    Job Overview: Wind Creek Chicago Southlands is unique among casino resorts because it is designed from the ground up to provide places within places for groups of people to meet and escape from their daily routine. Some of these places are called Micro-Environments. The Experiential Sales and Marketing Professional is responsible for managing these places through curation of experiential offerings within each place and booking these places to people and their friends who seek to spend time together in an exciting fantasy world of play, chance, and possibility. This role is part of and will support the Company's Online to Onproperty (OLOP) engagement strategy and it involves strategizing, planning, implementing and selling events and spaces. This role will work extensively with property operations and marketing, Company Promotions, Casinoverse Operations, and Regulatory Compliance. Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Experience Creation and Implementation:
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop experiential offerings for the Micro-Environments and other places on property and implement these offerings.
    • Manage the Micro-Environments and other experiential places
      • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, budgeting, vendor management, staffing, and on-site coordination
    • Promote and Book group use of Micro-Environments and other meeting and event spaces
      • Seek and book group use of the Micro-Environments and other meeting and events spaces available on property.
      • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and sponsorships with relevant organizations, influencers, and stakeholders to amplify the reach and impact of experiential marketing activities
      • Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners and sponsors, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships and clear deliverables
    • Budgeting and Reporting:
      • Develop and manage budgets with a focus on driving bottom line income through place bookings
      • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate key performance indicators, insights, and ROI analysis to senior management and stakeholders
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
    Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
    • High School diploma or GED– required
    • Bachelor's Degree in Related Field AND two (2) years Supervisory experience in Marketing – required
      • OR Four (4) years' experience in a group sales role with demonstrable year over year increases in bookings and revenues – required
    • Three (3) years supervisory experience in event marketing and or /experiential marketing (including virtual event experience) – required
    • Two (2) years group sales experience -- preferred
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and vendors
    • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools; experience with event management software is a plus
    • Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
    • Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position
