    Job Summary: Tower Technicians support all aspects of telecommunication installations including the construction and maintenance of telecommunication structures. To includes ensuring that work is performed in the safest manner possible while delivering a high-quality product to our customers.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Climbing and working on communications towers; installing, replacing, and repairing antenna equipment
    • Takes direction from crew Foreman ensuring safety and quality standards are met while adhering to project budgets and timelines.
    • Review documentation with Foreman to prepare for the build, assemble the necessary materials, and determine the required installation methods.
    • Help supervise the tracking of all on-site inventory and materials.
    • Perform tower inspections, inventories, and audits as needed.
    • Collect, review, and submit all on-site closeout documentation per the deliverable timelines.
    • Assist training crew members on proper safety/quality standards to align with CCDP (Crew Career Development Program)
    • Maintain issued equipment and report deficiencies as needed.

    Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Telecommunications experience
    • Basic knowledge of how to perform fiber, sweep, and PIM testing.
    • Ability to operate aerial lifts, skid steers, and other heavy equipment as needed.
    • Strong verbal communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to the set schedule.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education
    • Valid driver's license preferred with a driving record that meets Company requirements.
    • Ability to travel away from home, including weekends.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50 lb. load.
    • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
    • Must pass a background check and drug screen
    • Valid drivers license
