    Optum, part of the largest network of medical groups in the nation, we are seeking a dedicated and patient-centric
    Physician Assistant to join our growing
    Adult
    Primary Care team in the Northern New Jersey market with Optum Tri-State (*i.e., previously a Riverside Medical Group practice*).


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Perform comprehensive and problem-focused medical history and physical examinations.
    • Implement therapeutic intervention for specific conditions.
    • Order and perform diagnostic procedures and studies, such as EMG, Electrocardiogram, Compartment pressure measurements, X-ray examinations, CT, MRI, and bone scans.
    • Perform minor outpatient procedures, such as hardware removal, incision and drainage, K-wire removal, percutaneous pinning of fractures, tendon repair, wound closure, wound debridement, needle biopsy and wound care/management.
    • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as brace, cast, and splint applications, closed reduction of fractures and dislocations, injection of joints, joint and bursa aspirations.

    • Flexible Monday – Friday schedule options, typically featuring at least 3 full clinic days in one of our state-of-the-art specialty hubs, and 1-2 full day in one of our ambulatory surgery centers (and/or local hospital OR).
    • No weekends but requires shared/rotating on-call support (i.e., phone only).
    • EPIC EMR system.
    • Advanced Practice Clinician Partnership Plan and unlimited room for growth.
    • Supported to grow your practice and patient panel.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Master's degree as of Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
    • Certified as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA.
    • Active and unrestricted (Advanced Practice Nurse, ANP) or Physician Assistant license in the State of New Jersey.
    • Active and unrestricted CDS permit (or ability to obtain prior to start).
    • Active and unrestricted DEA License (or ability to obtain prior to start).
    • Must be CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior to start).
    • Prior relevant post-graduate clinical experience highly preferred.

    New Jersey Residents Only
    : The salary range for
    New Jersey residents is $110,040 to $139,000 per year.
