    Description
    ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership, coaching and guidance to team of software QA professionals.
    Maximize the capability and capacity of resources to deliver high quality solutions on time and within scope.
    Identify opportunities to practice and champion continuous improvement through projects, productivity assessments and other metric-driven insights.
    Manage to, and report on operational metrics and status.

    This is including but not limited to queue churn, trending, resource utilization, risk assessment and mitigation, project initiatives, and department-related data elements.

    Make timely and effective decisions to ensure the team continues to move forward while balancing current and future roadmap objectivesLead change initiatives and develop strategies to support change in engineering QA and development processes and strategyAccountable for resources' ability to improve knowledge and skills required for quality assurance teams to advance and leverage standardized tooling against the latest in programming languages and tech stacks while staying current on industry standards, trends, and software development methodologies.

    Responsible for establishing and managing to financial budgetsThis position may require availability outside of standard business hoursQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experienceAt least 5 years of technical experience in software development or quality assuranceAt least 3 years of large, complex project management experienceAt least 2 years of leading a team of technical staffAt least 2 years of experience with full lifecycle QA and development and using Agile methodsAt least 2 years of experience with test architectures and test automationPreferredExperience performing and managing manual and automated test validation against secure, scalable and highly available web and mobile applications, large-scale distributed systems across technical stacks that use varying architectures such as: microservices, serverless architecture, or service-oriented.

    Experience working with a distributed workforce in varying time zonesExperience with a variety of testing tools and frameworks:
    Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, JMeter, Postman, AWS, Lambda, AI Integration, BitBucket, TestNG, DevOps tools.
    Understanding of cloud-based SaaS architectures, deployment, and testing considerations- involving elastic solutions, distributed state, availability, scalability, etc.
