Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and service fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites.
- Conduct thorough construction inspections to ensure fire protection systems meet design specifications and safety codes.
- Collaborate with project teams on system design modifications to optimize performance and compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance checks, troubleshoot system issues, and execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Engage in sales activities related to fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler fitting by providing expert advice to clients.
- Document all work performed accurately in reports and logs, maintaining detailed records of inspections, repairs, and system updates.
- Stay current with evolving fire safety regulations and industry standards to ensure all systems meet or exceed legal requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting, fire alarm installation, or related construction inspection roles.
- Strong knowledge of security systems, system design principles, and construction processes related to fire protection.
- Familiarity with alarm system sales and fire alarm sales strategies is a plus.
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and system schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex system issues.
- Valid certifications in fire protection systems or relevant trade licenses are highly desirable.
