- Collect data and use statistical analysis to set product specifications.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures for departmental functions.
- Develop relevant food safety trainings for employees.
- Analyze data for trends and drive continuous improvements in the areas of food quality and food safety.
- Work on special projects and assist cross functional teams to drive manufacturing excellence
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Science, Food Safety, or a related field
- Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Masters student
- Strong computer skills in excel and other Microsoft office programs
- Interest in and/or aptitude for working in Quality Assurance
- Strong customer service mentality and communication skills
- Collaborative team player with a willingness to accept responsibility
- Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Eagerness to learn new skills
- Availability to work during school breaks
- 3.5 or higher overall GPA
- Strong Excel skills, including chart creation, graphs, pivot tables and advanced formulas
- Knowledge of McKee Systems such as PIDW or OPM
