Senior Staff Lead Radar Integration & Test EngineerLocation:
New York | Salary: £115,700 - £150,500 annual
Hyra is working on behalf of Saab to hire for the position of Senior Staff Lead Radar Integration & Test Engineer.
This role leads the integration and testing of advanced surveillance systems, including radar and multilateration technologies, at the East Syracuse headquarters.
The engineer will oversee key development programs to ensure the successful deployment of tracking solutions for aviation and surface safety.
What you'll be doing- Leading integration and test program planning for verification and validation activities
- Developing complex software and hardware test plans for system level testing
- Managing technical reviews, status meetings, and communications with external customers
- Performing detailed data analysis and preparing comprehensive test reports
- Providing technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching for junior engineering staff
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics
- 15 or more years of experience in a technical test engineering environment
- Proven experience leading developmental test and evaluation programs
- Ability to develop test environments and tools for complex system integration
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for this role
