    Job Description:

    Buchanan & Harper, Inc., a Panama City, Florida based engineering and surveying firm is seeking applicants for the position of Licensed Land Surveyor. Buchanan & Harper, Inc. has proudly served our clients since 1962. As we grow our team, applicants should possess strong knowledge of common survey types (boundary, topographic, route, legal/sketches, plat, easements, construction, etc.) along with the field and office techniques necessary to complete each type. Shall have a demonstrated ability to oversee and manage office, field crew staff and related activities. Experience with LiDar, Geospatial, Robotics is preferred.

    Examples of Duties:

    This is an inside position that is primarily office based but may require field visits for quality assurance/quality control field review, preparing proposals, and/or training and assisting field associates and drafting personnel. Producing quality and timely deliverables. Assisting with training field and office staff as applicable and in relation to specific methods and procedures while promoting a professional atmosphere conducive to learning along with providing quality services to the clients we serve.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Strong understanding of the surveying and mapping industry in Florida for both design and construction work.

    AutoCad proficient.

    Terramodel experience.

    QGIS 3 experience helpful.

    Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    State of Florida PSM license required.

    3-5 years of relevant experience required.

    Valid Driver's License.

    Drug Free Workplace (drug test required).

    Compensation Package

    $115,600. – $131,600. Depending on experience
