    Job Description

    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years nursing experience required.

    Overview:Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing specialized care to a student within a school setting. The LPN will work closely with the student on a one-on-one basis, ensuring their health needs are met throughout the school day. This position requires the LPN to acpany the student on the school bus, ensuring a safe and fortable journey to and from school.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct, one-on-one nursing care to the assigned student in accordance with their individualized healthcare plan.
    • Administer medication, treatments, and other medical procedures as prescribed by the student's healthcare provider.
    • Monitor the student's health status and response to treatments, documenting observations and reporting any concerns to the appropriate school personnel and healthcare team.
    • Assist with activities of daily living, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support, as needed.
    • Acpany the student on the school bus, ensuring their safety and well-being during transit to and from school.
    • Collaborate with school staff, parents/guardians, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement prehensive care plans tailored to the student's needs.
    • Maintain confidentiality of student information and adhere to all relevant privacy laws and regulations.

    Qualifications:

    • Current LPN license in the state of Georgia.
    • Previous experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in a school or similar setting.
    • Strong munication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
    • passionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a focus on promoting the student's physical and emotional well-being.
    • Ability to adapt to the unique needs and routines of the student, providing personalized care and support.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to acpany the student on the school bus.
