    ABOUT THE AREA:

Southeast Georgia Health System is in the heart of Georgia's Golden Isles, renowned for gentle breezes, grand oak trees, the sound of the surf, and our prized, ecology-rich Marshes as described by Sidney Lanier in the poem, "The Marshes of Glynn."

Our Center consists of two campuses, Brunswick and Camden. In Brunswick, we have 2 accelerators: Varian TrueBeam and an Accuray Cyberknife. We have an old Varian 2100c with Cone Beam and Obi in Camden. In Brunswick, we typically treat ~40 patients per day on the TrueBeam and 10-15 patients per day on the Cyberknife. In Camden, we treat 6-10 patients per day. We use Aria as our EMR system. We have 1 HDR which is a Varian Gamma Med Plus 24 channel unit which stays at the Brunswick Center. We treat around 40 patients per year on the HDR. We have 6 therapists in Brunswick, 2 dosimetrists (who work from home), and 1 physicist. We have 1 therapist in Camden. Physicists cover both clinics. We have 3 Radiation Oncologists who rotate between centers, including one in Waycross, but typically have one physician at each clinic daily.
