Title: CIS IT Project Manager
Duration: 6-12 Months
Location: Remote candidates (PST)
Other: 5% travel regional possible
IT Project Manager CIS Overview
· In this role, you will drive multiple projects simultaneously which are focused on implementing Customer Information Systems, tools, and technologies to be transitioned to the cloud. You will work with 10-12 project team members & stakeholders.
IT Project Manager CIS Responsibilities
· Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals
· Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting, estimates and delivering status reports to team members
· Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
· Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
· Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence
· Conducting risk assessments for projects
· Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
· Additional duties as assigned
· Lead business analysis efforts on small to medium projects.
· Identify and document project requirements through various methods, including interviews, workshops, surveys, document analysis, etc.
· Manage, validate, and prioritize business requirements.
· Identify and document existing processes and use cases.
· Design future-state processes and obtain necessary approvals.
· Document functional and technical specifications and obtain necessary approvals.
· Conduct analyses to define alternative approaches to satisfy requirements.
· May participate in other duties such as documenting test plans, scripts, conducting system testing and assisting in user acceptance test planning and testing.
· May work on multiple projects.
Requirements
IT Project Manager CIS Qualifications
· 3-5 years of project management experience driving implementations and transitions to support Customer Information Services
· Understanding of requirements development and management, business process documentation and design
· Demonstrated ability to build trust with management, project teams, and stakeholders.
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· PMP certification is a plus
· Strong communication, presentation, and time management skills to coordinate team members and management and explain technical issues
· Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion
· Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
· Ability to travel 5% to regional locations in Oregon, Arizona, Idaho, WA, and Texas might be necessary
