    Ultrasound Technologist (Night Shift)

    Location:
    Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), Bethesda, MD

    Schedule:

    Monday – Friday | 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM Company: USGP is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to support our military service members, veterans, and their families at Walter Reed NCR.

    Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
    Minimum of 2 years of post-training ultrasound experience
    At least 1 year in a hospital setting

    Note:
    Graduates who completed clinical training at WRNMMC may qualify under an entry-level contract exemption
    Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics
    Proficient in general, vascular, and Doppler ultrasound procedures
    Experience with PACS and MHS Genesis (Cerner) systems
    Compliance with facility requirements including flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (unless exempt), and fit testing
    Immunization Requirements (Current or Obtainable)
    Seasonal Flu vaccine
    COVID-19 vaccine
    Must include reference's name, title, phone number, date, address, and signature
    Perform comprehensive ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to:
    Abdomen, pelvis, obstetric (1st–3rd trimester), neonatal, vascular, thyroid, scrotal, and transplant imaging
    Assist in interventional procedures in radiology, OR, and specialty clinics
    Use and manage PACS and MHS Genesis (Cerner) systems
    document findings using IPASS
    Participate in staff training, competency assessments, and emergency protocols
    Mentor student technologists and resident physicians
    Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and all WRNMMC protocols
    Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff for patient care coordination
