    Description
    Position Summary


    Works under general direction to prepare payment plans, provide information, support and counseling to debtors; prepare reports, evaluations, and documents on defendants and their cases.

    Pay Grade: 41

    Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education

    Minimum Qualifications

    100% -•Two (2) years of experience in data processing, statistical experience or closely related field; AND


    • High school diploma or possess a GED.
    • PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
    Duties and Responsibilities


    • Verifies, enters, and executes garnishments and levies on unpaid costs and judgments.
    • Collects and posts payments for court costs, garnishments, and executions.
    • Arranges installment payments with debtors.
    • Investigates delinquent accounts.
    • Transfers and updates information to include building cases and recording motions.
    • Reviews and assigns available court dates for motions.
    • Sets motions and notifies parties of court dates.
    • Researches and responds to inquiries from the public and from officers of the court.
    • Prints docket reports on older cases.
    • Calculates, prepares, and connects statements of due and unpaid court costs.
    • Transfers funds in and out of deposit, escrow, and judgment.
    • Assists with the training of new employees.
    • Performs other related duties as required or directed.

    KSAs -•Knowledge of laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations affecting the record-keeping operations of a department and skill in applying them.


    • Ability to plan, organize, and maintain an even flow of work.
    • Ability to maintain continuous mental alertness and reasoning ability.
    • Ability to spell, punctuate, and use grammar correctly.
    • Ability to deal courteously with the public and to resolve problem situations.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
