    The Opportunity

    Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking seasonal experienced Cooks to join the team at Peaks of Otter Lodge in Bedford, Virginia. As a Cook 3, you will demonstrate your culinary skills and lead in the kitchen. Working closely with management, you will help plan menus, ensure food quality, train kitchen staff, operate equipment, adhere to health codes, monitor costs, and maintain cleanliness. If you're ready to showcase your cooking prowess, this opportunity awaits.

    Pay:

    $19.00 per hour

    Responsibilities:

    • Review menus and customer orders
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization
    • Minimize waste and follow inventory procedures

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years of back-of-the-house foodservice experience
    • Ability to follow recipes and prep sheets
    • Basic math skills for measurements
    • No high school diploma or GED necessary

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
    • Stand and walk for extended periods
    • Operate kitchen equipment
    • Adapt to variable temperatures and environments

    Shift Details:

    Evening shift, weekends
