Job summary
The Installation Supervisor is responsible for mentoring and overseeing the office installation teams.This position can have between 5 and 10 direct reports and will support the Operations/Installation Manager while serving as a field change agent to help improve overall communication, project execution,and efficiency with Installation Technicians.
The Installation Supervisor conducts quality control visits during and post-installation/commissioning and reports findings to project teams and management,
coordinatesand managesinstallation activities including all out-sourced or sub-contract work in support of project installation activities,
makes pre-installation site surveys as needed
develops thorough understanding of project requirements objectives including but not limited to contractual technical schedule construction coordination materials personnel scope of work
,supports contributeto process improvement initiatives demonstrates installation tasks for audiovisual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable cable termination equipment mounting reads interprets electronic schematics architectural blueprints travels various job sites mentors supports Installation Technicians through their designated learning development plans
