    The Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) Program is a part of a larger government-wide mandate to address implementation of ICAM security disciplines that enable the right individual to access the right resources, at the right time, for the right reasons. The objective of the Program is to provide oversight and coordinate efforts to implement the processes, policies, and technology necessary to deliver enterprise-wide identity, credential, and access management services across a user base exceeding one million individuals. The Program is responsible for providing ICAM related policy oversight and implementation guidance, managing the ICAM information technology portfolio, driving logical access compliance, and operating enterprise shared services for key ICAM capabilities in support of various enterprise missions. Additionally, the Program is working to modernize and automate service delivery as well as lower its risk of security incidents.
    We have an opportunity for a strong Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Identity Access Management (IAM) team.     Responsibilities:

    • Perform testing of the software and tools implemented by the ICAM Program to ensure that it works properly according to the functional and technical requirements
    • Testing methodologies include, but are not limited to unit, integration, performance, and regression testing
      Perform testing for all sprints and releases
    • Develop testing practices and test cases required to ensure complete test coverage for all product requirements and capabilities implemented
    • Execute Unit and Functional Testing
    • Participate in the design reviews
    • Ask questions to Product Owner to help clear up business requirements
    • Develop and implement automated test scripts and support the deployment of updated code into production environments multiple times per day
    • Develop and implement automated and scripted testing that verifies all end-user facing functionality
    • Develop and implement automated and scripted unit and integration tests to verify modules and components
    • Implement test automation to run tests automatically as part of a DevSecOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) build, merge, and deployment process
    • Work closely with developers and engineers to implement "Test-Driven-Development" methodologies
    • Conduct load and performance tests at regular intervals, including before public launch of end-user facing components
    • Performance tests shall be automated and scripted
    • Performance tests shall be able to simulate production level surges in end-user traffic or system load to identify performance bottlenecks
    • As needed, recommend tools to the Government necessary to support Quality Assurance requirements, with a preference for open-source tools

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred
    • Proven expertise in QA testing and test automation
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Good experience in communication to stake holders, providing training, and documentation
    • Good experience as an Agile team member
    • Familiarity with GIT
    • Strong working knowledge of Atlassian Jira & Confluence preferred
    • Good understanding of Identity and Access management domain, Provisioning, Governance, Life Cycle Management (LCM) and Compliance preferred
    • Experience with SmartBear Testing software (LoadComplete, TestComplete, CrossBrowserTesting, and QAComplete) is a plus
    • Experience migrating from one testing suite to another is a plus
      Ability to obtain a U.S. Government clearance (Public Trust)
