    At SUNY Polytechnic Institute, we are seeking a Lecturer in Writing to join our Department of Communication and Humanities. This is a full-time non-tenure track position with a 3/3 teaching load of lower and upper division academic writing classes. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate students, engage in professional or academic activities, collaborate with faculty across the university, and participate in university service.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Teach three undergraduate writing courses per semester.
    • Engage in activities that make a positive impact on campus communities locally or globally.
    • Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development and assessment as well as tutoring services.
