    A globally distinguished medical device company based in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Sr. Contract Analyst to support their team in a REMOTE capacity for a 12+ month contract assignment that has high likelihood of extension/conversion.

    Top 3 Skills:

    1. Experience administering, extending, negotiating, and terminating standard and nonstandard contracts.
    2. High proficiency with Excel Spreadsheets, Business Objects, and SAP
    3. Additional experience in sales, marketing, purchasing, or related areas desirable

    Duties:

    • Administers, extends, negotiates, and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
    • Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
    • Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Prepares bids, processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data and maintains historical information.
    • Process customer quotation and bid requests in a timely manner in accordance with Medtronic pricing objectives, terms, and conditions.
    • Support Customer Care, Credit Financial Services, and other organizations to resolve pricing discrepancies and other related issues.
    • Ensures the accuracy of contracts and pricing; works with Internal Departments, Medtronic Distributors, Corporate National Accounts, and Sales to investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies.
    • Prepares reports; advises management of process and system issues, compiles and analyzes data, and maintains historical information.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelors degree plus 2 years of relevant experience; OR
    • Advanced Degree

    • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Econ, Math or Accounting
    • High proficiency with Excel Spreadsheets, Business Objects, and SAP
    • Experience creating Excel documents, including spreadsheets, formulas, charts, graphs, and functions
    • Additional experience in sales, marketing, purchasing, healthcare or related areas desirable
    • Solid business acumen and judgment
    • Sound analytical skills, ability to manipulate and interpret data
    • Self-motivated and goal oriented
