Position Summary
We are seeking a PRN / Pool Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech therapy services across inpatient and outpatient settings within Grady Health System, including Crestview.
This role practices within the scope of the Georgia State Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Licensing Act and collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to plan, implement, and evaluate speech-language pathology interventions that promote optimal functional outcomes.
The PRN / Pool SLP delivers care to patients across the lifespan—from neonates through geriatrics—while supporting departmental coverage and operational needs.
This opportunity is ideal for clinicians seeking schedule flexibility in a fast-paced, teaching-hospital environment.Key Responsibilities
Provide evaluation and treatment services to inpatient and outpatient populations
Treat patients across all age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
Complete clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
Maintain compliance with Georgia licensure requirements, departmental policies, and quality standards
Support PRN / Pool coverage needs across assigned service areas
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Licensed or license-eligible as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Georgia (must secure Georgia license by employment start date)
Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
At least one (1) year of experience in a teaching hospital or academic medical center
