About the Project
AVA Digital Services is building Africa's first Identity-First Economic Operating System — a multi-role fintech platform where a single biometric identity orchestrates a user's entire economic life: personal finance, family coordination, merchant operations, and business management — all in one app.
We have a functional Proof of Concept in testing since Q Flutter). We are building the production MVP for commercial launch in July 2026 in Côte d'Ivoire. This is real, funded work with an active supervisory team.What makes this project unusual:
- Multiple simultaneous user roles under one biometric identity
- 72-hour offline-first architecture
- BLE hardware integration (smartwatch + AR glasses)
- Federated AI layer (Gemini + GPT-4 + Claude, extensible to local models)
- Physical hub network of 337 locations — the hubs themselves run your Merchant role in production
You are building the mobile application, design system, and API layer for commercial launch. The POC is the foundation — you stabilize, upgrade, and extend it. Android is the primary delivery target; iOS is secondary.

The first milestone is design, not code. We want Figma interactive prototypes of all MVP flows before a single line of production code is written. A working UI with a solid backend beats a perfect backend with poor UX — every time.

Mobile Framework
The POC is Flutter. We are open to retaining Flutter or migrating to React Native — your team decides and makes the case. Your proposal must include a framework recommendation with rationale and your team's verifiable experience. Decision confirmed within 48 hours. No production code before agreement.
AI Stack
Current (live, must be preserved): Gemini Pro/Flash + GPT-4o/GPT-4o-mini via API.
Your additions:
a provider abstraction layer enabling selective use of Claude (Anthropic), Gemma 2 (local, offline), Llama 3.2 (local, offline), and DeepSeek-R1.
Mobile never calls AI providers directly — all AI routes through the backend abstraction layer.Team Required
