    Providence at Home is seeking a Home Health and Hospice Office Manager, Full Time in Tinley Park, IL. Providence at Home is a Joint Commission accredited and celebrating 30 years of home-based services. This is not a remote position.

    Schedule Available:
    Monday - Friday during normal business hours.

    Summary of essential job functions:

    • Assist with billing, and patient care management through timely and accurate data entry and system reporting.
    • Process all credentialing, re-credentialing applications for Insurance companies, State Licensure, and other requests for all Home Health, Hospice and Palliative. Send copies of annual licenses that are renewed to corporate.
    • Verify Insurance Benefits for Home Health, Hospice, Palliative referrals for both Illinois and Indiana offices.
    • Prepare monthly Recertification Due report and distribute to Home Health Intake staff, clinical supervisors and monitor the report to assess if patients recertified or discharged.
    • Work with accounting in resolving any discrepancies in month end reports they discover.
    • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift.
    • Prepare daily census report and weekly and monthly admissions reports.
    • Prepare quarterly credit balance reports.
    • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
    Requirements


    • Minimum of 3 years' experience, at least one of which in the area of Home Health or Hospice.
    • Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete the orientation program.
