Join a mission-driven team to work as a Patient Registry Services Specialist in the Office of Medical Cannabis Division where you would contribute to the work of protecting, maintaining, and improving the health of all Minnesotans.
This position exists to provide assistance to the Office of Medical Cannabis (OMC) Support Center and Patient Registry.Working as a Patient Registry Services Specialist, you will:
Review and process OMC Patient Registry enrollment applications.
Provide verbal and written technical assistance and customer service pertaining to the medical cannabis program.
Provide support to seasonal call center staff in addressing questions from callers and assist in performing key Registry functions.
This position may have the option of teleworking based on the business needs and manager discretion.
Minimum Qualifications
To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
Ability to use a muti-line telephone console, efficiently transfer calls, and take accurate messages sufficient to work in a high-volume, healthcare related call center.
Database management and record keeping sufficient to retrieve information, manage data, answer customer questions, and generate reports as needed for working in a healthcare related patient registry.
Customer service skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to a variety of customers over the phone, in person and via email.
Ability to respectfully engage with clients, coworkers, and customers, when handling difficult or complex problems and resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
One (1) year of previous experience working in a healthcare related call center.
Knowledge of the Minnesota Medical Cannabis Law.
Experience working a large database with confidential information.
Previous experience training and/or providing education to others.
Experience using computer software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Excel.
