    If you're a talented SEO manager with a history of wins in search, we'd love to have you join the TurboTenant team and help our website get in front of more independent landlords and renters across the country.

    We're looking for someone who can collaborate with our Paid Media team and the rest of the marketing and engineering teams to level up our website(s). The ideal candidate would have a strong background in technical SEO, being comfortable digging into Google Search Console, conducting log file analysis, and discussing website architecture with our developers. At that same time, you should also be comfortable working alongside our content team to assist in planning new content and providing recommendations on optimizing our existing content to better perform on search engines, including but not limited to Google, YouTube, and ChatGPT.

    As part of the Performance Marketing team, you will:

    • Own the website(s) organic search presence from a technical SEO perspective.
    • Own the site speed, working with engineering to make sure pages load quickly and efficiently.
    • Identify high converting keyword pillars and create content strategies to drive growth.
    • Manage all metrics and reporting of SEO performance to the company
    • Expands sphere of influence beyond the marketing team and engages as an SEO subject matter expert in numerous cross-functional projects.
    • Grow TurboTenant's footprint across the internet with an increase in domain reputation and more short tail keywords ranking in the top 10.
    • Manage our backlinking strategy to increase our domain authority.
    • Leverage and optimize multiple mediums like Apps, Audio and Video to rank higher on Youtube, App stores, and podcast platforms.
    To be successful in this role, you must:
    • Have 3-5 years of experience working on high performing teams, owning SEO strategy.
    • Have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, including how upcoming Google updates may affect the site's success.
    • Have a thorough understanding of different kinds of technical SEO aspects, the purposes of the site structure, and when to use different schema and other SEO features.
    • Experience optimizing a variety of websites, along with a track record of successful increases in organic traffic and key events.
    • Experience working with multiple stakeholders (writers, designers, and product specialists) to create consistent messaging and spread SEO knowledge to increase other team's marketing efforts.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • The ability to distill complicated lingo and technical concepts into clear and actionable plans, especially for non-technical minds.
    • Overwhelming excitement to think outside the box and try new approaches to improving SEO performance while not violating the terms set by any particular search engine.
    Bonus points if you have experience in any of the following areas:
    • Experience managing an SEO team, in-house or outsourced
    • Press releases and their publication
    • Writing original blog content
    TurboTenant's marketing team is located in Denver, Colorado. This role will be hybrid, as face-to-face time is an important aspect of the TurboTenant culture, and this role will be expected to be in person in Denver 1 time per week on Wednesdays (more if you want).

    Compensation range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000 annually + equity. The actual compensation offered will be based on experience.
