- Design, plan, install, support, and maintain County-wide network and infrastructure hardware and software systems
- Respond promptly to infrastructure service outages and coordinate resources for issue resolution
- Demonstrate expert-level technical skills, effective resource management, accountability, and problem-solving abilities
- Provide timely resolutions to support issues with a focus on exceptional customer service
- Lead the design and implementation of various service delivery and capacity management processes
- Design, implement, and administer infrastructure systems such as virtualized server hosts, network storage devices, switches, routers, access points, etc.
- Take the lead in network security administration to ensure system integrity and safety
- Collaborate effectively with team members, vendors, users, and customers through positive and diplomatic communications
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously improving knowledge and skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 6 or more years of hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of network servers, operating systems, and network infrastructure technologies
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies
- Advanced Systems Administration or Network Administration certifications preferred
- Familiarity with ITIL or IT Service Management best practices desired
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid Colorado Driver's License
