Job summary
This position is responsible for dismounting mounting and balancing of all tires sold.The Shop Technician will perform a variety of tasks including handling scrap or take off tires placing them neatly in storage area and many miscellaneous duties that you may be asked to do
- Prepares tires for installation mounts and demounts tires on rims; and fills tires to the proper air pressure.
- Inspects and tests tires to ensure conformance to standards.
- Examines and probes damaged defective or flat tires to determine the extent of damage and the feasibility of repair; and recommends the disposal of non-repairable tires.
