Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Human Resources Assistant, where your energy and organizational skills will drive our talent management initiatives forward In this vital role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, from talent acquisition and employee onboarding to benefits administration and employee relations. Your proactive approach will help foster a positive workplace environment, ensuring smooth HR operations that align with strategic goals. Duties

  • Assist with talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms like iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo, and coordinating interviews via platforms such as Salesforce or Oracle HCM.
  • Support new employee orientation and onboarding activities to ensure seamless integration into the company culture.
  • Maintain accurate HR data entry across HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro, or Paychex, ensuring data integrity for workforce management and benefits administration.
  • Contribute to employee evaluation processes by gathering performance data and supporting performance management initiatives.
  • Help administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation claims, and retirement plans like Paylocity or Kronos systems.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies, labor law compliance (including OSHA regulations), and conflict management strategies.
  • Support HR projects related to change management, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and organization design to promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven administrative experience with strong data collection and entry skills in HRIS platforms such as PeopleSoft or Ceridian.
  • Familiarity with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, and HR sourcing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally and discreetly.
  • Knowledge of HR tools including Workday, ADP, UltiPro, Kronos, Taleo, Paychex, or similar systems for payroll and workforce management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within project management frameworks; experience with training & development programs is a plus.
  • Demonstrated capability in conflict management and employee relations to foster a positive work environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in contracts processing, benefits administration, and performance documentation.
