    Description
    Synerfac is seeking a Electrical Engineer for our client in Charleston, Parkersburg, Fairmont, WV and Athens, OH. Our client provides comprehensive Architecture, Engineering and Surveying services, focused on precise results, efficient practices and community minded solutions.


    This individual will assume the role of Electrical Engineer for our organization and will join a team of other electrical professionals servicing a diverse base of clients throughout WV, OH and beyond.



    Responsibilities:

    • Planning and conducting independent electrical engineering work requiring sound judgement in evaluation, selection, application and adaption of electrical engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
    • Prepare and modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices and standards.
    • Ability to perform all levels of electrical engineering designs for Industrial and Commercial facilities.
    • Advanced understanding of Power distribution: 15kV and 600V and below.
    • Ability to develop one-line diagrams, plans, details, and schedules.
    • Power study experience such as short circuit analysis/arc flash studies.
    • Application of NFPA Guidelines including publication 70 (National Electric Code), 70E.
    • Complete lighting design including lighting calculations, layout, and controls.
    • Development of motor controls, design schematics and act as a consultant for motor applications.
    • Research and develop cost estimates.
    • Provide manpower requirements for engineering proposals.
    • Ability to work well with clients, vendors, and project field personnel.
    • Participate in job site visits to serve as the electrical technical project representative during construction phases.
    • Ability to develop process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
    • Process and field instrumentation design including application and integration
    • Control System programming - PLH & HMI knowledge
    Job Requirements


    • Bachelor"s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program
    • 2+ years Electrical Engineering experience
    • Desire/background to become a Professional Engineer, if not at time of hire
    • Proficient using AutoCAD and/or Revit
    • Knowledgeable in National Fire Protection Association/National Electrical Code (NFPA/NEC) Standards
