The Chief, Anesthesiologist position is a critical role within the Martinsburg VA Medical Center. The selectee will serve as the chief of anesthesia and provide perioperative medical care, anesthesia, pain management, and critical care services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serves as first-level supervisor for anesthesia staff including anesthesiologists certified registered nurse anesthetists physician assistants planning daily assignments orienting new staff to policies procedures conducting staff meetings coordinating in-service training promoting sound management principles identifying training needs ensuring compliance with federal regulations guidelines.
