    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist (CAT Scan Tech) with at least one year of experience and an active Maryland license for a 13-week day shift assignment.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a dedicated CT scanner department with a focus on performing CT imaging procedures
    Day shifts scheduled Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
    Position involves direct interaction with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
    Supports procedures such as biopsies and drainage under physician guidance
    Duties include counseling patients, obtaining consent for IV injections, positioning patients, and operating scanning equipment
    Candidates must be comfortable assisting physicians with interventional procedures such as biopsies and drainage
    Patient interaction and multidisciplinary teamwork are essential parts of this role
    Local candidates are accepted at the same rate, except for specific hospital exceptions
    Scrub or dress code policies will be provided by the facility

    Requirements
    Active Maryland license required if applicable
    Registered Radiologic Technologist certification (ARRT) required
    Current CPR certification required
    Completion of two years of occupationally specific education or an Associate's degree in radiology technology required
    At least 1 year of CT technologist experience required
    Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count strongly preferred
