Maintenance Mechanic responsible for repairs , trouble shooting, continuous improvement and preventive maintenance of equipment and processes to ensure efficient production, primarily in the Weigh/Mix /Sterilization operations for the main plant . Perform all duties strictly according to Safety Regulations, cGMPs, SOPs, and other internal and external regulations.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

• Performs scheduled maintenance on facilities equipment and systems.
• Repairs the malfunction of machines, systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Routinely checks on machinery and systems for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize downtime and interruptions.
• Initiates improvement on the functionality of facilities equipment and systems to increase its efficiency.
• For more senior position, might acts as a team leader to ensure that the work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing team members.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices
• Documents activities accordingly.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

• Required to apply comprehensive working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts, and proposes a course of action. Performs comprehensive shop floor competencies.
• Works under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of other peers.
• May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.
• Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

Required:

• High school diploma/G.E.D required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.
• Related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level.
• Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed.
• Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
