    Description

    Job Description and Duties

    • Working under the guidance of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) within the Immigration Unit of the Policy Development Branch, Medi-Cal Eligibility Division (MCED), is required to make significant decisions impacting California's Medi-Cal program and county government operations. The AGPA will oversee activities related to immigration status policy issues, refugee programs, and medical support enforcement. They will also collaborate on existing policy and program areas within the Medi-Cal Eligibility Division, focusing on the interpretation, development, and implementation of state and federal laws for immigrants' Medi-Cal eligibility. Coordination and consultation with various governmental agencies are also part of the role, along with the development of complex Medi-Cal policy projects.
