Job Title:
Government Vehicle Maintenance Technician / Ordinance Equipment Mechanic (OEM)

*Summary: As an OEM, you'll undertake a variety of tasks including assembly, disassembly, fabrication, repair, and testing of complex electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems. These systems typically include avionics, missiles, weapons controls, aircraft armament, bomb racks, launchers, and associated equipment. You'll work with a range of tools and precision measuring equipment, performing tasks such as removal and installation of components, connectors, and wiring, as well as light machining, sheet-metal work, drilling, riveting, and airframe repairs.

*Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience: Proficiency with pneumatic tools, electric tools, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment. Experience in automotive, aircraft, biomedical, or racing industries is preferred.
• Knowledge: Ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings and technical documents. Extensive knowledge of electronic, electromechanical, and/or optical equipment/systems.

Mental Requirements:
Ability to bend, reach, and lift objects within safety guidelines. Mechanical aptitude is essential.

Candidates will be evaluated based on their mechanical skills, experience, and ability to perform tasks such as drilling, bolting, cutting metal, splicing wires, and vehicle modification.
