    Healthy Smiles of Shenandoah Community Health (501c3) is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated general part-time dentist to join our team in Martinsburg, WV, and a possible future office in Winchester, VA. Healthy Smiles is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with multiple locations that offer Medical, Dental and Behavioral Health services to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the community by increasing access to care and establishing yourself as a trusted dental provider.

    Our Dentists:

    • Treat all patients with respect, dignity, and empathy
    • Provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis and treatment plans, general restorative procedures, and minor oral extractions
    • Initiate and interpret x-rays
    • Administer and prescribe anesthetics and medications
    • Conduct follow up patient care
    • Provide dental and oral health education to patients and families
    • Manage difficult clients and patients, demonstrating interpersonal savvy and influence skills

    Qualifications & Education Requirements:

    • Doctorate of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine
    • Current license or willingness to obtain a West Virginia State license
    • Current license or willingness to obtain a Virginia State license
    • Strong computer skills and experience with healthcare databases and applications.
    • Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and health care.
    • Exceptional inter-personal skills, and the ability to demonstrate empathy, respect, specificity, and genuineness in all interactions with patients, staff, and visitors.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics.
