    Description

    Our client is looking for a clinical research nurse for their rapidly expanding company that has recently secured additional investment to fuel their growth. Established in 2015, they have expanded to 11 sites, conducting over 400 clinical studies spanning Phase I to IV, primarily focusing on GI, Hepatology, and CNS.

    This site specializes in general medical programs, offering services such as Memory Screenings, Liver Screenings, and Counseling Services for enrolled participants. Our studies encompass Alzheimer's disease, depression, Fatty liver disease, and liver fibrosis.

    This role will be onsite in Covington, LA

    Responsibilities:

    As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator with nursing expertise, collaborating closely with the Principal Investigator (PI), Sub-Investigators (Sub-I), and other Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) on various clinical research studies. Your responsibilities include:

    • Conducting assigned studies in adherence to protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements (FDA, GCP, ICH).
    • Screening and scheduling patients for study enrollment, obtaining informed consent, and conducting follow-ups.
    • Documenting patient charts, entering data into Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, and addressing queries.
    • Performing clinical procedures such as vital signs assessment, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and laboratory tests (blood draws, scans).
    • Managing and replenishing study-specific supplies as needed.
    • Participating in monitoring visits, site initiation visits (SIVs), and Investigator Meetings (IMs).
    • Reporting Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) and deviations to the Sponsor and Institutional Review Board (IRB), handling all IRB functions.
    • Documenting and reporting adverse events promptly and accurately.
    • Completing all necessary activities for study start-up, including training and certificate management.

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
    • Ideally, 1 year of sponsor-backed clinical research experience.

    Compensation:

    $65,000 - $70,000

    Schedule:

    Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
