- Provide fundamental experience within our Logistics Department.
- Will be tied to a specific department for 10 weeks with additional 1-week rotations in the remaining departments. The rotations will include Customer Service, Transportation, and Shipping & Receiving.
- Responsible for creating and providing a Power Point presentation outlining "lessons learned" during the internship to the Logistics Steering Team at the end of their internship.
- Primary responsibility will be to get an overall experience on how each department impacts the logistics departments and our customers.
- Perform operational and administrative functions as it relates to academic major.
- Work on special projects as assigned by functional leader.
- Assist in implementing functional strategies and support the team in reaching goals and objectives.
- Support the departmental deliverables and help in planning and supporting tasks.
- Have an applicable degree program and coursework that corresponds with the internship applied for.
- List specifications required for the job and indicate the importance and proficiency levels of each.
- Knowledge - Some familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Skills - Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position.
- Abilities - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional manner.
